Sean Simmans writes and illustrates a wide variety of comics and strips, from the family-oriented (Alice) to the R-rated (Roy Barley), all featuring whimsical and bizarre characters.

His work has appeared in such publications as UMM, Maclean's, VIBE Nation, Writer's Post Journal, Midwest Today, SLUG, SLC Weekly, The Acorn, Sonoma Sun Times, and The Crawdad Horn.

RIZZO is the most widely-read of the strips and has garnered something of a cult following. The first 300 episodes have been collected in the RIZZO: YEAR ONE Anthology (ISBN 978-0-9784559-0-3).

Simmans also custom tailors strips for small and local markets.
